I've always been fascinated by the human psyche. Even as a child, I was forever curious about what made us humans (especially myself!) tick, so I guess it's really no surprise that I went into the counselling psychology field. I'm constantly humbled and honoured that clients share their lives with me, and I hope that through that sharing (and specific therapy strategies, of course), I can help others make the changes and achieve the personal growth in their lives that they are seeking. I never fail to be amazed at the resiliency of the human spirit and our ability to work through the challenges that life throws at us.  
When I'm not working, I like spending time with my family (I have 2 young adult children), doing yoga, reading and writing, and hiking/biking/skiing. The outdoors is a place that helps me put life into perspective.
